The PictureStockton website is administered by the Stockton Library Service and was launched in June 2004. Originally intended to display the images held by both the Stockton Library Service and Museum Service, the site has developed into a comprehensive pictorial record of the social history of the area.

We welcome contributions of photographs from our visitors –

The type of images we are interested in are :

* Images that show the social and economic history of the area
* Images that show the commercial or industrial history of the area
* Images that are unusual or interesting in the area
